Alzheimer's Memory Walk

It's so sad, but today it seems that every family has at least one member who's dealt with, or knows someone who has dealt with Alzheimer's. It's really a sad disease...one that takes smart, energetic people and brings them to a point where they speechless, and have no recollection of what's going on around them. My grandma has Alzheimer's and is actually in the final stages of this terrible disease. I would love nothing more than for us to work together to find a cure. We can all make a difference by becoming a team captain for the memory walk that takes place annually across the country. It's the largest event to raise awareness and the funds to help find a cure and learn more. Being a Team Captain is so important because you're bringing people together, getting them energized and ready to start this fight against Alzheimer's. Team captains are the hear of this whole thing in my opinion...without them we would have no memory walk. It's really important to me because I am personally affected, having my grandma who has it. Seeing her in the state she is in is just saddening, and that's why I think it's so important for people to get involved. Please go to their site and learn more about this terrible disease...together we can make a difference! This is a paid post.
