Daddy's Girl

People say that my daughter Kaelyn is daddy's girl. She is a sweetie and I love her very much. This was at her brother Kaden's birthday party!

Winter Weather

Wow, did the weather ever change! It wasn't exactly warm before, but it's cooled down a lot and lately we've been getting a wintery mix which is making it very slick outside! I actually had to put salt down on the driveway because our mailman almost fell walking up it. I guess winter is nearing, so this kind of weather is something we have to get used to. Part of me just wishes it would last until Christmas and then warm up again. I much prefer summer.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of my loyal readers! I hope you are able to enjoy a restful day with family. We're planning on celebrating a couple of different days. Today we're getting together with my family for lunch and then my mom's side for supper. Saturday we are going to Jen's parent's house and will spend the day there. It's nice that we can enjoy time with both sides of the family. I'm looking forward to a long weekend and just being able to enjoy some time relaxing.

New Cell Phone

I enjoy getting a new cell phone. It is tough to keep up on the newest technology but I like to try. I have been with different cell phone companies and have had many phones. Most of the phones I've had have worked just fine. I have one now that has a larger screen which I like. There are almost too many styles to choose from. I know people that don't even have a cell phone. I am so used to having one that I don't think I'd like being without.

Iowa Hawkeyes

Well, the Iowa Hawks won today. They beat Indiana 18-13. I only watched about the last quarter or so because of other work I had to do. I was glad to see that they won. It was a nice day for a football game. I would have rather seen the game in person but the TV had to do. Now I hope the Vikings win tomorrow.
