Police Enthusiast

"Please click on this to go and view an awesome banner where you can watch The Police's videos, listen to tracks from The Police's new 2 cd hits collection, enter to win a trip to NYC to see The Police in concert and even view details about their current world tour."

I have always been someone who enjoys and appreciates the Police band!! My wife also really enjoys their music...and tells me quite often that she thinks they are one of the best bands around. I have to say that I must agree with her on that one. She recently got their new 2 disc compilation cd and man is it good!! I couldn't believe all the great songs that they had on the new Police Cd. There were so many favorites I can't even count. We listen to it quite often...we're very happy to have a copy of it.

Are you a Police fan? If so, then you should check out their Eyewonder banner. This banner is basically your ticket to all of the latest and best information about the Police. On it you will find links to tour information, vidoes to watch, and even a track list/jukebox from their new cd...you can even listen to it!! That was pretty cool I thought. You also have access to enter a contest and send to a friend. And finally, my favorite since I'm so into cell phones...you can find many different ring tones here as well. Basically the Eyewonder banner offers everything you would need to keep up to date on the police! Sound like something you're interested in? Check it out today then. This is a paid post.

Games for Reno 911!

Have you seen Reno 911! Miami The Movie yet? If not than you definitely should!! It actually was just released out on dvd so you can go in get it today! Still not sure if it's the movie for you? Well, maybe a brief summary will help. Basically the police of the Reno Police Department are at a National Police Convention, when they get called to save the day as terrorists attack. It's really a great movie with lots of laughs.

I got to their site often because they have so much information about the movie including info about the cast, downloads, and 4 great games that you can play online. I have played them all, but I really enjoyed "Calling all Units". I chose this game because it seemed like the most fun and the most interactive in my opinion. I had fun racing that police car around and trying to dodge all of the vehicles around me. My ending salary was 25,300, but my cost to the city was 27000! I guess I had a few too many accidents. My bustin bonus was 2000 dollars which I was happy with though. You'll have to check these games out for yourself and see what you think. And don't forget to go buy Reno 911! Miami The Movie today! I am being paid for this post.

House Hunting

I am really looking forward to this next weekend already and it's only Monday. The reason I am so excited is because my wife and I are actually going to be looking at some houses here in the town where we live. We are excited to find a home of our own that is ours and not just one that we rent. The one we are renting is very nice, but we'd like to find something more "us". Hopefully we have some luck this weekend with that!

Burn Notice

I am the type of person who absolutely loves television shows that are action packed and keep you on the edge of the chair wanting to see more. I am a sucker for shows like this, as are many of you out there I'm sure!! It's tough not to get hooked to shows like this. There is actually a new show, USA Network's Burn Notice, that begins June 28th that I'm very excited to see. It's about Michael Westen, a man who is a spy and gets fired, or rather burned by a burn notice. I'm very interested to see the type of things a spy does and has to do to keep themselves out of the main attention of others.

Sometimes I think about what I would do if I were a spy to disguise my own identity. I think that I would definitely do something with my appearance, but nothing too extreme. I would want to change certain things, like the way I dress and maybe the color and style of my hair. I wouldn't want to do anything that would make me stand out though, and seem suspicious. I would also try to utilize special tools, like hidden microphones or cameras to do a lot of my work for my own safety.

If you're like me and think about things like this, and enjoy those action type of shows...check out Burn Notice and learn more about it at http:://www.usanetwork/series/burnnotice. I am being paid for this post.

Virginia

I've been looking so forward to going to see my sister and her husband and my niece and nephew in Virginia for months now. Jen and I were gonna go at the end of this month if everything worked out ok. My job really wasn't able to give me much notice and by the time they told me that I could take the time off and go, tickets are way to expensive. Jen and I are trying to be smart with our money, as we have a lot on our plate right now with the baby coming and possibly buying a new home. Spending two times the money to get plane tickets and fly out there just isn't going to work out I don't think. It makes me sad, but we'll just have to wait until we can better afford it. We have a lot going on right now in our lives and we need to get settled in first with all of these changes coming our way.

Pet Insurance

Do you have a pet that has to go to the vet a lot during the course of a year? Do you find yourself spending lots and lots of money? Many of you pet owners out there know that you spends lots of money each year on the healthcare of your pet. They're a part of your family and you take them to the vet just like you'd take your own kids to the doctor if they needed medical attention. Health Insurance for pets is becoming more popular, especially after the pet food incident that happened not all that long ago. It's fact that one in three pets will need emergency veterinary treatment every year. That's a lot, and that's why it's important to look into pet insurance! Are you interested in getting pet insurance for your dog or cat?? If so, check out PetCare Pet Insurance today. This is a paid post.

The Weather

Well it ended up raining quite a bit so far today! That really limits what we can get done at work. I was hoping that it would be another beautiful day like it has been over the past week or so...but I guess rain is good too. Especially for the farmers and those who are planting around this time of year. I just hope this clears up, and the rest of the week is nice...because I'm going golfing this next weekend!

Masterseek

My family has their own business and I got to thinking one day how great it would be for them to be able to easily search out other companies on the web. When I say easy, I mean fast and simple. Well, in browsing the web today, I came across a great site that offers just that! masterseek is a wonderful global search engine, making it possible for people to search through millions of different companies across the world! What a great way to meet other business partners and expand your business. This is something I'm going to share with my family ASAP! Check it out and see what you think.

Bloggerwave

I have been doing this blogging thing for a while a now and absolutely love it!! I love having my own online personal journal where I can write about all the things that are important and meaningful to me. I also enjoy being able to get paid to blog about different topics and sites as well. One company that allows me to do this is Bloggerwave!! They are a wonderful site that makes it easy for bloggers and advertisers to connect, so that bloggers can write about the products and/or services the advertiser is wanting to promote. It's so easy and fun...what a great way to make some extra money! Does this sound like something you'd be interested in?? If so, check out their site today.

The Weather

It's so beautiful outside today!! I wish that I didn't have to work this whole week...because it's just been so nice out ever day so far!! If I have the opportunity to take off early one of these days I may bring Jen to the lake again...she really enjoyed that!:) We call it a "date"!

7 Day Promotion

Ok, so as I've written before, PPP never ceases to amaze me!!! They are always coming up with new ways to give posties more opportunities to make big money! Today I found out that they are starting their 7 day promotion, based on $7 Million in funding that they received this morning!! This is probably one of the biggest promotions yet, because they are running this for 7 days between noon today and noon next Tuesday! They will be releasing $7K in opportunities which is SOOOO exciting! That's exactly the type of opportunities that I am needing these days. They will all be $10.77, $70, or $700!!! WOW!! Posties will be allowed to grab each, so there's no worry if you take the $10.77 one first! I really hope I can get all of this...what a blessing that would be. So get started and get paid to blog.

$7 million is a lot of money and I'm glad that PPP was able to get this funding. I think that some of the money should definitely be used to help promote PPP more, especially to advertisers. For those of us who don't have that high Pagerank yet, it would be nice to have more advertisers willing to pay us to do more opportunities for them.

Thanks for this promotion PPP and congrats on the funding! This is a paid post.

The following is the press release:
The PayPerPost Revolution Accelerates, Sponsored
Blogging Marketplace Secures $7 Million Series B

Draper Fisher Jurvetson leads round and joins Board of Directors

ORLANDO, FL – (June 12, 2007) – PayPerPost, the leading marketplace for advertisers to reach bloggers and other consumer content creators, today announced it has completed a $7 million second round investment led by Draper Fisher Jurvetson, an investor in the company's Series A and one of the world’s leading high-technology venture capital firms. The financing brings the total amount of capital raised by PayPerPost to over $10 million, giving the company considerable resources for further development as the industry’s leading Consumer Generated Advertising marketplace. Additional participants in the round include existing investors Inflexion Partners and Village Ventures as well as new investor DFJ Gotham. With this investment, DFJ Managing Director Josh Stein also joins PayPerPost’s Board of Directors.

“PayPerPost created this exciting new advertising space and has established itself as the industry leader,” said Ted Murphy, chief executive officer of PayPerPost. “Although we’ve only used a portion of our first round capital, this added support from investors unlocks significant growth potential. Our content creator and advertiser ROI metrics clearly demonstrate the upside for PayPerPost’s model. We intend to use this capital to build the infrastructure, visibility and professional expertise necessary to reach and retain a greater network of advertisers and content creators than ever before.”

Since its founding in June of 2006, PayPerPost has signed more than 6,500 advertisers to its groundbreaking service, which has enabled Consumer Content Creators to be compensated for their efforts discussing specific companies, products or services via blogs, videos or other media. The content creators are required to disclose relationships with advertisers on their blog, providing transparency for the end reader. Over 125,000 Internet postings, most in the form of blogs, have already earned money for their creators through PayPerPost’s innovative marketplace. PayPerPost recently released PayPerPost Direct, a disruptive new service that allows advertisers to contract and negotiate directly with individual bloggers they identify through a safe, managed system.

“PayPerPost has laid a strong foundation for the future,” noted Tim Draper, founder and managing director of Draper Fisher Jurvetson. “It continues to attract a critical mass of participants from both the advertising and blogging communities. Analogous to Overture’s sponsored search model, we believe PayPerPost’s business model holds disruptive potential and will enable the company to thrive in the evolving paid-content arena.”

To mark the $7 million dollar funding, PayPerPost has launched a new website detailing the company’s service offering at http://www.payperpost.com. Bloggers and advertisers can easily sign up at the site and begin leveraging the self service marketplace.

Coupon Codes

With life getting so busy for those who work all the time, shopping online has become the norm. Although there are many of us who shop online, I wanted to educate others on a great site that is helping in saving money with coupon codes. I would have to say my favorite store to shop at online with coupon codes is the HP Home Store. I am really big into technology and the latest electronics that are out...so this store is right up my alley. Find your favorite store and start saving with promo codes. This is a paid post.

Slowing Down

I'm glad that work is finally slowing down. For a while there I was still working 7 days a week, and it was starting to feel like I never was able to see my wife. Now it seems as though things are slowing down, and my weekends will be free again. I know I'm excited about it, and I'm sure my wife will be too.:)

Still Busy

The weather has been kind of weird this year. April is supposed to be the time for rain, but we've seen much more of it in May and now June already. My job depends on the weather, so this year everything that we need to get done outdoors has gotten pushed back. It's tough, because I don't get to see my wife as much as I'd like...but hopefully some of this rain lets up so the business of work will slow down.

HotelReservations.com

I haven't planned too many vacations in my life, but planned a very big one, our honeymoon. I remember wanting to plan a great vacation for us, and it was going to be a surprise for Jenna. Although I had fun doing it, it was sure a lot of work! I even had her mom helping me, because she's planned so many vacations. I never realized what work it is to plan a vacation, especially when you want it to be absolutely perfect! Not only are trying to figure out where to go and what there is to do there, but you're also looking for the greatest hotels or resorts at the best prices. You also have the hassle of trying to find car rentals, flight information and much more! Next time I travel or plan a vacation, I'm definitely not going to go through the hassle of searching through lot so books and calling around. I'm going to HotelReservations.com first! I'm going to share this site with my mother-in-law as well...as I'm sure she would greatly appreciate a site that makes planning a vacation and finding a Hotel Reservation so simple. Supper???

What to have for supper?? When I am home on the weekends I enjoy helping my wife out with the suppers, and I was just trying to think of something yummy that we could have tonight. I'm thinking I will grill, since it's so nice easy to do and nice out tonight. Maybe pork chops?? I think that sounds good. My wife absolutely loves pork chops, especially with applesauce. I'm not too sure about that combination...I have yet to try it.:)

New Marketing Blog

I always enjoy seeing what other types of blogs are out there. There are just so many creative people, with lots of interesting information to share with others. The latest blog that I came across was a new marketing blog, Marketing Conversation. I really enjoyed this blog because of all the information it had to offer on things like advertising, blog ranking, and so much more! Although information is important, I usually look at the layout of a blog as well. This blog is definitely laid out very nicely, making it easier for viewers to find what it is they're looking for, without being overwhelmed by adds like some blogs out there. Check out today and see what you think. This is a paid post.

Mowing again!

Since it's been raining so much, or grass is growing like crazy!! It looks great, but wow have been mowing a lot! It's tough to fit in the mowing between work and the rain, but I finally got a sunny evening to quickly do it. I usually don't like to mow on Sundays, but since it was nice out I thought I'd take advantage of it and just get it done. It looks great, but I'm sure it will grow back before I know it.

Meade MySky

Are you someone who enjoy our universe? What about astronomy and science? Do you appreciate the latest technology and gadgets that come out? If so, then you definitely need to check out OpticsPlanet.com. They offer so many great things like meade telescopes, binoculars, and so much more. The newest thing that I found on their site was the Meade MySky. This is a really neat gadget that gives people another way to explore our amazing universe by giving the view the chance to identify over 30K celestial objects in the night sky. It's a great thing for the entire family!! It's very easy to use and operate. If you're interested in astronomy and really cool gadgets, I suggest you take a look at this site and at the Meade MySky today! I am being paid for this post.

Great day!

Lately, due to the rainy weather during the week, I've been working a lot on the weekends. Thankfully today it was raining and really nice to be able to spend the day with my wife and in laws. I was able to go to church and just relax with Jenna! I love days like this. I am really looking forward to work slowing down so I can have more days like this to spend with her.:)
