How many people enjoy shopping on black friday for Christmas gifts? I know I do!! This is something my wife and I enjoy doing every year. Our Little Girl!

I am SO enjoying being a dad! Every moment I get to spend with her is the absolute best. I don't mean to brag, but our little girl is so smart and beautiful!! I'm so proud of everything she does. She recently has been going through quite a few changes actually. She got her very first tooth, she's crawling on her own, and is getting into the sitting position on her own too! She's very active and curious. I can't wait to see what she'll be doing next!

I have been looking around for a nice pair of jeans that I can wear to work, and found a new pair of John Deere ones on Ebay. I wasn't sure how I'd like them, but once I got them I liked them so much that I think I'm going to order another pair. Jenna really likes them too. She says that they fit me better than any of my other jeans. If I do get another pair, maybe I'll just keep them for good instead of them wearing them at work and getting them dirty every time I wear them. Nice Weather

It's sure turning out to be a beautiful day. The weatherman had said that it was supposed to rain today, but by the looks of it the weather is going to stay gorgeous!! It would be a perfect day to go for a walk with the family. We'll have to see how the day goes to see if that's a possibility or not. I just love it when it's the nice outside. It makes me look forward to summer and even warmer weather ahead! Hopefully I'll be working a little less and will be able to spend more time with the fam!

Teething Stinks!

Kaelyn is still teething...but no teeth yet (well that we can tell anyways). She has been extra fussy lately...and just wants to be held a lot more than usual. She seems to cry like her gums are hurting her...and doesn't even want to take her pacifier much any more. These behaviors just aren't like her, and it makes us think that these teeth may be getting ready to poke through?! Last night Jen went out and bought some of the things that we can try to use to help relieve some of the pain. Hopefully it helps. I feel bad for her...poor baby:(

Beginning to Babble

So Kaelyn just began babbling the other day. I mean, she's cooed and squealed and stuff for many months now...but the other day she actually began putting vowel and consenants together! Jenna called me while I was working, and had kaelyn talk to me on the phone. She was saying....dadadadada over and over again! It was the cutest thing ever! She's been doing it a lot lately, and will copy us when we do it. I don't think she quite knows that dada is me...but it's still adorable.

I enjoy learning about new car sites, and when I do...I like to share them with others who like cars as well. Today I came across midwest auto recycling. Do you make money online? If not, you should! It's so easy, and such a good way to make some extra money. I don't do it too often, but when I do it's some good money!! Blogitive is probably one of my favorite companies to blog for...as they make it easy to get opportunities and make money. There are other companies as well...but there are things about all of them that I am not too fond of. I think I will definitely blog for money as long as I can...it's great!

John Deere

My brother in law works for John Deere. He LOVES his job and wouldn't trade it for anything. I think it's great that he's so young and has found the job of his dreams. Many people take many years to get to the point that he's at. I'm so happy for him. I really like John Deere too. He actually got me a hat that I'm giving to someone I work for, and checking on pull over jackets for me as well. He's a good guy...I'm glad we get a long so well!

Big Girl!

Lately Kaelyn has been jabbering a lot!! She's been squealing and really making a lot of sounds too. She's too cute. She even moves her eyebrows like she's really telling you a story. It's amazing how in six months she goes from a newborn who slept a lot, but a big girl who makes noises, moves all around the room and is eating baby food solids. I have sure enjoyed watching her change and grow. The time goes by too quickly though.

Raining

Boy is it pouring rain out there now. I didn't know if the weatherman was right when he said it was going to rain, but it sure is. It's thundering and lightening...it's a big thunderstorm!! It looks like it is going to be an early night tonight. I don't even know if we'll get a lot done at work tomorrow if it's too wet out. We'll just have to see how much rain we get. It's nice to be indoors when the weather is like this...outdoors is a little too dangerous.

Kaelyn's Dedication

Kaelyn gets dedicated at church this Sunday. I'm supposed to work that morning since it's the busy season...but I was able to take off just so I can go and be up on stage with her. It should be a fun time. All of the Grandparents are coming. Afterwards I will go back to work, and Jenna is going to go back to our house with her parents and celebrate mother's day! It should be fun for them. Wish I could be there. Oh well...the sooner we get going with this busy season, the faster it will be over.

Consigment Show

This past weekend Jen's parents came up and we went to a really big consignment sale about an hour from where we live. It was definitely worth the drive, as we found bag loads of clothes and toys!! I was hoping that we'd have good luck...especially since it was the last day of the sale. It turns out that this is definitely the day to go...as everything was 50% almost. They have these sales in the Fall and Spring, so it looks like this will be something we do twice a year. It was a lot of fun.

Home Channel

Jenna and I both really enjoy the HGTV channel. We like watching all of the different shows they have...especially those on remodeling and updating older homes. Our home isn't extremely old...but there are little things we'd like to do over the next few years. So far we've just been replacing light fixtures and things like that...and boy what a difference that makes!! It's amazing how a room can be transformed by a few things on the wall and lights on the ceiling. It's fun to do things in our home now that it's ours and we're not renting apartments anymore.

Cute Little Guy

We just received an e-mail from Jenna's brother with a cute picture of their little boy. he's two weeks younger than Kaelyn...and already has his two front teeth on the bottom. It's really cute! He looks like such a big boy with his teeth. I guess it was rather rocky for the past few weeks...as it was causing him quite a bit of pain in the night. Neither he nor mom got much sleep by the sounds of it. I guess things are getting better though and all are sleeping much longer. Yeah!

Growing Fast

Don't you just love babies?!! I hadn't been around too many babies until my wife and I had our daughter, Kaelyn. She is more precious than I can even describe...and such a good little girl! I love her so much. She's kind of a Daddy's girl, so that's fun too. She's learning to do so many things lately...like eat solid foods, get up on her hands and knees, roll all around the floor, etc. I can't believe how quickly they grow and change. We were comparing her pictures the other day and couldn't believe how different she looks now from the time she was first born. They grow too quickly.

Rain, Rain, Stay Away :)

It's been a while since I've been able to post on here...as life has gotten pretty hectic now that the busy season has begun. The only time that I get a moment to relax and spend time with my family is when it's raining out...which hasn't been a whole lot lately. I don't mind the busy season in the Spring, as it usually goes by pretty quickly. It's just really exhausting, and it makes me miss my wife and daughter a lot. We're probably not even half way done so far....so I hope that the rain stays away so we can finish by the end of the month...that would be great!
