Job Search

In the past I've been in situations where I'm looking for a job that suits me. I never considered going through a recruiting service, but wish I would have. Especially one like AE Feldman Associates, Inc. They are an executive search firm that is known for their high standard of service and dedication to the recruiting field. Rob and Big

Last night I was able to watch one of my favorite television shows on MTV, Rob and Big. I know this isn't a show for everyone...but I just love it. It is very humorous and interesting to watch all that these two men come up with. My wife thinks that they have too much time on their hands to do all of the fun and crazy stuff that they do...but I think it is kinda funny. How about you?!? Do you watch Rob and Big?

What a sweetie...

I can't believe Kaelyn is getting so big already. My wife was taking pictures of her yesterday and showed me when I got home from work. She was cooing like crazy and laughing as she was grabbing for her toys on her play mat. It's amazing how quickly babies change and grow. I want to cherish every stage....they're all so special. She's also becoming quite the cuddle bug. She likes to lay with me at night and watch TV for a while.

Pool Company

I don't even live in Arizona, but have heard much about Cameo Pools. That must say a lot about their company to be known all the way up here in the midwest. They are the oldest pool company in Mesa Arizona...having been around for over 29 years as a family owned and operated business. I think that's great. Fireplace

I'm sure glad that we bought a house with a fireplace. I've really been enjoying having a fire going each night lately. It's been so bitter cold out there that it's been nice to relax in our family room and enjoy the warmth from the fire. The only bad thing about it is that it does let out a lot of heat once it goes out and the damper is still open. I hope that someday we can get a gas fireplace...that would be great.

Sad News

I know many people will think this is odd...but it wasn't until just recently that I found out Hulk Hogan's wife, Linda, filed for divorce. I found this to be quite a shock...especially after having watching their previous seasons of their reality television show and seeing how much the two of them seemed to have loved each other. Someone did recently bring it to my attention though that it may be a strategical move to protect some of their money?! Who knows. No one knows the details except for them. I just thought it was sad news to hear.

Super Bowl Tickets

Going to the Super Bowl has always been a dream of mine. Ever since I was little I've always enjoyed watching football...and to go to the Super Bowl...well that would be incredible in my opinion. I've always wanted to see a game played like this, but have only been able to do so from the comfort of my own couch because it costs so much for super bowl tickets. So sad

I was pretty shocked to hear the news that Heath Ledger died yesterday. It seems these days the news always has something shocking like that. It's so sad. I wonder how he died?! I will be interested to know what they find out. They don't think foul play was involved. They found him in his apartment with sleeping pills nearby. We'll have to see what happened. I just think it's sad that someone so young has died.

Yeah!

I am pretty happy about tomorrow. I found out at work today that I get to go to a class rather than work. It's about an hour away...but what I like best about it is that I get off about 2 hours earlier than I normally would. I am thrilled about that!! It's not too often that I get home before 6 these days...so today will be a treat for me. I think Jen is really happy about that too.

So much fun!

I can't believe how much our little girl is growing. It seems like just yesterday she was born...and now almost three months later she is growing like crazy!! I can't believe how much she's changed in appearance either. She no longer has that "newborn" look...but looks like a chubby little baby.:) We are enjoying every stage she goes through...especially now that she's becoming more and more interactive. It's so fun.

Lots of projects...

Now that Jen and I own a home of our own...we are enjoying doing little things here and there around it. So far we've only done simple things...painted mainly. Soon though...we're going to put up a while in an upstairs bedroom and are going to carpet part of our basement so we can have a family room down there. It's great to have something you own so you can do the things you want to it.

Working

I'm a little bummed, as I just found out that I may have to go into work tonight. I know Jen is bummed as well. This is supposed to be the down time for the job that I work at...so it's quite the bummer when I get called to go in. I enjoy being home with my wife and my daughter, not going to work at night, after already having worked a long day. Grr...

Fun Weekend

I'm sure enjoying being home this weekend so far. Although Jen and I have both been busy cleaning and other stuff...we're still so enjoying each other's company. Tonight will be fun too....because her parents are coming up to visit and stay the night. We always have a good time with them. We all get a long so well and just have fun hanging out. Kaelyn is looking forward to seeing her Grampa and Grammy too!

Wow!

I can't believe how quickly a year goes by. Last year around this time Jen and I were making the decision as to which job I wanted and where we wanted to live. Now a year later, we took a job and ended up moving closer to family which has been just wonderful! In that year we also had a baby and bought a house! It's crazy how much can happen in one year! I'm looking forward to the year to come and all the happiness I know it will bring!

5 hours and counting...

I'm so glad it's Friday!! Most times my work weeks go by pretty quickly, and this week is no exception. It really flew by which makes me very happy. That means that soon I will be off from work and able to spend the weekend with my wife and daughter!! I get to spend time with them at night time, but it's great to have a couple of days with them when we have the whole day together. I can't wait....5 hours and counting!!

Cell Phone Trouble

I got to work this morning and could not find my cell phone anywhere!! I looked and looked and it was no where to be found. After a while I went back to my car and kept searching, and to my surprise it had fallen off of my belt clip and underneath my seat. Jen had been trying to contact me this morning and I felt bad that I wasn't around my phone to answer her call. I really need to get a better belt clip. Any ideas on what would be the best kind to get?!?

Nice Day

It was sure nice having half the day off to go to Kaelyn's Dr appointment with Jenna today. I also got some things done up at the courthouse for our new car as well. It's amazing how much you can get done in just half a day. I'm glad it's the down time at work so I was able to go. Starting this spring it will get busy again...so I need to get as much done as I can now.

Work

For a while there I was getting a little frustrated at work. I didn't feel like I really had much responsibility there other than a few small things. Car Hunt is Over!

The car search is over! Jen's parents found the perfect vehicle that they were looking for...God is SO good! They had a list of the things they wanted in a vehicle and this one had them all plus more! They now are able to sell us their vehicle, which is in excellent condition! It's something that Jen and I have been wanting for quite some time now. We shouldn't need to put money into another vehicle for quite a while which is very nice! I'm so excited that they finally have their vehicle and we finally have ours!
