We Got New Furniture

Last night we went to Furniture Row to look at a new dining room table, couch and a love seat. We were able to get a great deal on both so we will pick them up when we are ready to move. Jenna and I really feel that we are doing the right thing because everything is moving so smoothly that we really feel that God has his hand in it. We will just have to trust in him.

I have a job!

After a long discussion between Jenna and I we decided to take my Grandpa's job opportunity for me. We also found that we can rent out my Uncles old house, from them in Albert Lea. So now we are going to be moving on February 10th. So now it's a matter of packing and getting ready to move.

What to do?

So Jenna and I have been seriously considering what my Grandpa has to offer us. We are thinking about a lot right now, where to live, will our budget work. I hope that this is a step inthe right direction and everything will work out. We will pray about this and hope that God gives us a peace about it.

New Job Opportunities

After taking a weekend to reflect on what direction I wanted to go with my life. I considered banking as an option, but don't know what opportunites are available. I have contacted the Vice President of a bank here in Cedar Falls, to see what options there are available. I also talked to my Grandpa, who owns his own business, to see what opportunities he has available for me as well. After meeting with my Grandpa I found that he has some opportunities available for me that could possibly work out for us. So we'll have to see how this all plays out.

It is a sad day

Today I found out that the job that I had been interviewing for over the past 6 months was filled. I don't understand it, it was an entry-level position but yet they filled it with someone with 13 years experience. I am really disappointed, and don't know what to do now. I am really going to have to take a hard look at what I want, and pray that God will guide me to what he has planned for me.

Update on Job Hunt

Well since I have been so busy over the holidays I haven't had a chance to update you on my job hunt. I can honestly say that not much at all has changed. I still have yet to heard anything from BMS on the job that I have been interviewing for, but I only hope that it is soon.

A Day of Relaxation

Happy New Year! Today we celebrated Christmas in the Sankey household. It was a nice day to just sit back and relax after the business of the holidays. So today I just sat around and watched football, and later on we opened up presents when Jake got home from his trip that he took. I had a great holiday break, even though it was busy.
