Yard Work

Last weekend I raked up a ton of leaves in our yard. The very next day we had 40 mile per hour winds and it blew more right back into our yard. I am in the busy season and don't have time to be raking all the time...so i think it's just going to have to wait. Something else I did was put down a little grass seed. It seems that around many of our trees, the grass is sparse and far between. Hopefully between the rain and the sunny days...the grass will come in in no time!

To Do List

One of the jobs that I usually end up doing around the house is laundry. It's something that Jen doesn't have a lot of time for since she is busy with Kaelyn and other things, so I usually do it. I don't really mind it too much. The only thing I don't like is the folding part. Even though it's something that I can do in front of the television or somewhere else...it's still not something I like to do too much. Oh well I guess...it's one of those things that has to be done.

Growing so fast!

Our little girl is getting so big! I can't believe how much she's grown in the past few months. She will be 6 months old in just a couple of months...and she's already doing so many things. She's rolling all around...she is sitting on her own...and soon she will even begin eating solid foods. People always tell you how quickly your baby will grow...but until you actually have one you don't realize how right they are. That's why we've been trying to capture each phase she goes through with pictures...because they're gone before we know it!

Dogsitting

For the past couple of weeks we have been dogsitting my wife's parent's dog. Zoe is a really good girl. She is pretty obedient and is really sweet. At first she was a little jealous of Kaelyn, our daughter, but over time she has gotten more use to her being around. She will go up to her and sniff her...and lick her too. Kaelyn really likes Zoe as well. She smiles whenever she comes around. It's been fun having Zoe around...but I'm sure she's getting homesick and will be happy to see her "mommy" and "daddy".:)
