I'm So Tired
Well the trip to Georgia and back went as planned, but I'm so tired. We got back to Cedar Falls at 12:30 last night, and I worked this morning at 10. It made for a long day yesterday, we left Atlanta at 6 a.m. and drove until we reached home. It took us 18 hours to drive that distance, that is enough driving to wear someone out for months. But it's done and over with now, thank goodness.

Places to Go, People to See
Well Christmas officially kicks off for us this Friday night. We leave friday afternoon, after we get off work, for Albert Lea to my Mom's side. Then we have Christmas, on Christmas Eve with my Dad. Christmas Eve night we will have supper at my Dad's but wait until we get back from Georgia to open gifts, so Denise can be here. Christmas Day we travel to Fort Dodge, for Jenna's mom's side. Then December 30 we have Christmas again at my Dad's with Denise. Finally, we have Christmas with Jenna's family on New Year's day. This rounds out the whole Christmas holidays.

High Speed Internet
Today I was doing some checking into different options for internet, for my Dad. I never knew how many different ways to get internet there are. He currently has dial-up internet, but needs fast speeds for when Denise gets up here since she will be working out of the house. Next I checked into DSL High Speed through local telephone providers, but that didn't work out because none of the local telephone providers offer DSL in his area. So that limits what possible options are left, because he lives out in the country there aren't many options. The last option is satallite internet, when checking into this it sounds like the option that he is going to have to take. That was quite an experience.

One Week Closer to the Holidays
Now that Thanksgiving is done, we are weeks and days closer to Christmas. I am excited for this because I am taking a week off between Christmas and New Year's in order to help my Dad move his new wife Denise up here. It should a fun trip, we are flying down there the day after Christmas and then driving back. We'll have to see how that goes.

What A Great Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving was a great but busy time, not only did we have to have Thanksgiving with both my Mom and Dad but also with Jenna's family. On Thanksgiving day we stayed at Jenna's and had lunch with her parent's and grandparents, later on that night we went out to my Mom's to have Thanksgiving with her and my grandparents. Friday I had to work all day, that wasn't fun being the day after Thanksgiving and all. Saturday we then had Thanksgiving on my Dad's side, Denise and her family were even able to come up and celebrate it with us. It was busy but really fun.

I Hate Working Retail
Working retail sales the day after Thanksgiving really sucks. One reason is because you open up 2 hours earlier than normal, and you are also open 2 later than normal. I guess the main reason that this bothers me is because I have to work all day. I switched hours with a friend because I have Thanksgiving tomorrow and I was suppose to work. So here I am for 13 hours today, I hope it goes fast.

Still No Word
So I have still heard nothing from BMS, and I'm kind of worried. I know that God has plans for me, plans that will allow me to grow in faith with him, and make me greatful for everything that he has provided for me. So I have learned that everyday we should thank God for all of the blessing that he has provided for us not only today but also the blessings to come. God is good.

My Dad is Engaged
So my Dad has been seeing this wonderful lady from Georgia for some time now, and he proposed to her this past week. It's a great story how they met on Eharmoney.com and how God worked to bring them together after she went through some tough times. Her name is Denise and I've met her once last February. She is a very nice, christian woman that is a great match for my Dad. They are planning on getting married December 15 in Georgia.

Back to the Old Grind Stone
I am back at work this morning. We got back from Mrytle Beach last night at 6, Jenna's parents took us and her brother Jake out to supper at the Texas Roadhouse. I can really say that I'm glad to be home. It's funny how people are always eager to go on vacation but when their gone for awhile they can't wait to get back home. That's the case for me, but I'm not happy to be at work right now.

Vacation At Last
We leave for vacation to Mrytle Beach in 2 days! How exciting, we are all packed and ready to go. I still have to work tomorrow, unfortunately, and Jenna's parents are going to come down tomorrow too. I am going to see if I can get off work early just so I can start my vacation even earlier. It will be nice to get away for a week and just relax and not worry about having to work.

Worried
I am so worried that I will get a call, while I'm on vacation, for an interview for the BMS job. I emailed the manager of the job I'm interviewing for, and told him that I'm going to be gone. But I don't want that to be the reason I don't get the job. I would not go on the trip if I knew that I for sure could get the job. I haven't heard anything yet and last time he let me know 2 weeks in advance, so hopefully he will do the same for the next interview. I sure hope so.

The Waiting Game Again
My interview went great on Monday, with Bristol-Myers and Squibb. The guy I interview with didn't really expect me to know much about the drugs but just wanted to see if I possessed the ability to comprehend and understand the information, and be able to relay the information to physicians. So overall I think that it went great, now I just have to sit and wait to hear from them. Keep praying for me please.

My Interview is Tomorrow!
My interview for the Bristol-Myers and Squibb Pharmaceutical Sales job is tomorrow. I have been review my sales training manual that I got back in June. My contact Jason, has given me a lot of information on the drugs that I would be selling too. He gave me some basic things that I should say about the drugs while I'm in my interview. I have to drive to Ankeny tomorrow for the interview, it's a 9:30 in the morning, so I should leave here by 7:30. Any prayers that I can get from friends and family would be awesome.

Planning A Trip
We just decided this past weekend that we are going to take a trip to Mrytle Beach in October. Jenna's parents are going to go with us, so we are planning on driving. We decided that we would leave on the 20th and return on the 27th. Although Jenna and I have already been there once, I would really like to go golfing there, I hear that they have hundreds of golf courses to choose from down there. I should be a fun trip.

I Got a Second Interview
I finally got a call from the Pharmaceutical Company I was waiting to hear from. They set up an interview with me for October 9. I am excited and nervous all at the same time. I am excited because it puts me one step closer to getting my dream job, but I am nervous because if this interview doesn't go well then I don't know what I am going to do. I guess that I just need to have faith that the Lord will guide and direct my path.

Waiting Is So Boring
I am still waiting to hear about this other job. When I interviewed with them they said that they would call me 2 weeks after my interview, but I haven't heard anything yet. I am so eager to start my career that I am going crazy just sitting around thinking about it. Hopefully I hear soon.

One down, One to go.
I just found out this week that I didn't get one of the jobs that I interviewed for. It was, however, the job that I thought that I wouldn't get in the first place. There is still hope with the entry-level position. I will just keep praying that it is the one.

My Birthday is Near!
My birthday is in a week and I will be turning 24, and I can't believe it. Time has gone by so fast, it just seems like yesterday I just graduated from high school. It's great though, my father-in-law and I are going to golf on my Birthday, and I'll get to go out to eat with my sister and dad too.

Work As Usual
I graduated this past May and have yet to find a job. I graduated with my Athletic Training Degree with a Marketing Minor. I am looking to go into the Pharmaceutical Industry, I have interviewed with 3 Pharmaceutical Companies so far, 2 of which I am still waiting to hear from. One of the jobs is an entry level position, which I feel I have the best chance at getting.

My New Blog
I am often told that people are curious about what is going on in my life but can't get a hold of me to find out. So my wife came up with the idea of starting up this blog so that people can just look up my blog to see what is happening in my life. This is the first post that I am doing, with many more to come.
