Family

I am so blessed! What a wonderful family I have. We recently had new family pictures taken. Our daughter Kaelyn is 3 now and our son Kaden is one already. Time sure does fly. Kaelyn enjoyed putting on her picture face (a smile) and Kaden loves to smile most of the time!

Daddy's Girl

People say that my daughter Kaelyn is daddy's girl. She is a sweetie and I love her very much. This was at her brother Kaden's birthday party!

Kaelyn's First Parade

Jen and I had the opportunity to take Kaelyn to the parade here in town over the holiday weekend. It was her first parade, so we didn't know how she'd react, or how she'd like it. Thankfully it was a big hit...and she loved it!! She sat in her stroller and on our laps and just starred at all the floats. She did so good!! It got a little long though...so just before the parade ended she fell asleep. It was a good time! I'm glad we went.

Fun Weekend

I am really looking forward to this weekend. Time spent with family is always a good time. We're going to be spending time with my mom's side of the family and then Jen's family too!! It is definitely going to be a good time. I hope that the weather is nice like it always is...as the lake is a great place to spend the holiday weekend. We usually eat way too much, and get way too much sun , but it's still fun!

Visiting Family

My sister has been asking us recently if we're planning on trying to make a trip out there to visit her and my other sister and her family this summer. Jen and I would love to make it out there sometime soon...it totally depends on money and Kaelyn though. It's been many years since we were out there last, but with work, school (at the time), and now a baby...it seems there is always something that makes it hard to go visit. Hopefully we'll be able to this summer...we'll just have to see I guess.

Healthy Baby

Our little girl has been around Jen's brother, me, and Jen who have all be sick and she is still healthy as a horse...thank the Lord!! She is strictly breastfeeding which they say is the best thing for a baby in building up their immunity to things. This must be true because she's not shown one sign of not feeling well. I'm so glad!! Having a sick baby would not be fun. Thank the Lord for her health and ours!
