So sad

I'm sure I've said it before...but what is up with the news these days. I feel like I can't watch it without hearing some sort of tragic news that's gone on in our country or world. Whether it's war, death, sickness, or something else...it seems to be something that I hear about a lot. I think it's so sad all that goes on. For instance, yesterday I was watching the news, and to my surprise Sean Taylor...player for the Washington Redskins had died. Just the day before I had watched the news and heard he was shot in the leg because someone had broken into his home...but never thought that he would die from it. It's just so sad!

Family of Three

My wife and I recently had our first baby. We had a girl and her name is Kaelyn!! We absolutely love being a family of three and really have enjoyed being parents so far! We always knew we wanted to have children, and now having our daughter is just wonderful!! We are really enjoying watching her grow and change each and every day. It's amazing how her little personality is already starting to show. What an amazing gift and a blessing a child is!

Gifts

Christmas this year is going to be a little different. My wife and I recently had our very first baby and are so excited to share the holiday with her this year!! We're especially excited to shop for Christmas gifts for her. Even though she's still too young to open these gifts...it will still be fun to buy her gifts and celebrate Christmas with her as a family this year. I'm thinking we will do much of our shopping at Target for her, as well as Old Navy because they have so many cute baby clothes that we would like to buy for her. This weekend

I'm really excited because I already found out that I have this weekend off from work!! It's so nice to have days off because I get to spend time with Jen and Kaelyn. This weekend Kaelyn is going to be dedicated at church and then I think we're also going to meet Jen's parents for supper one night, as it's her mom's birthday next week. It should be a nice and relaxing weekend. I'm really looking forward to it. I think we may even do some Christmas shopping as well.

The one thing that I've really been wanting for Christmas this year is a sharp HDTV.
