One Week Old
One week ago today our little son was born. We decided to be surprised about the gender, so the day we found out was wonderful! Now we have a little boy and a little girl....life is great! I am loving having two kids. Kaelyn sure loves having a little brother. I wasn't sure how she'd react to having our attention split between her and someone else, but so far she's handling it very well. I'm happy about that. She can't get enough of him and loves to give him hugs and kisses.

Monex
The Monex Deposit Company makes it possible for you to purchase silver, gold and other precious metals. You can have it delivered immediately and best of all, you'll get terrific service as well! They have been around for over 30 years and are known as America's leader when it comes to the investment of precious metals and coins. I am very impressed with how easy they make it to invest. The more I learn about them, the more I'd like to work with them. How about you? Have you had any experience with Monex. If so, please let me know what you think.I'm looking forward to learning even more and deciding if this is the thing for me or not.
Couldn't ask for more....
I just can't believe how fast our little girl is growing up. It still feels like we just brought her home from the hospital, and now we've moved her into a twin bed, she's potty trained, and she is talking more and more everyday. I miss the days where she stayed in one spot and she wasn't always getting into trouble. I am just so happy that we have a beautiful little girl that is so sweet and kind, I couldn't ask for anything more!

Job Woes
As a Field Sales Agronomist, and a new one at that, I am always learning on the job. Just a few days back a farmer had contacted me asking me to go out and look at one of his fields. He just couldn't understand why this one area of his field had no leaves on the plants what so ever. So being the rookie that I am I asked another Sales Agronomist and a Seed Rep to go out there with me and this is what we found. Sure enough there were an area of soybeans that there were no leaves but the stems were all there. After looking around for a few minutes, the picture above is what we concluded to be the problem. See right across the road from this field is a pond, a pond full of geese. So the geese would walk across the road, eat the beans and walk back across the road. All I can say is he got one thing out of the deal, fertilizer!

Vacation
A vacation is sounding SO good right about now. Jen and I haven't been anywhere in so long. We would LOVE to take a vacation in the next year if possible. We've been looking into the Karisma Hotels as a strong possibility and really like all they have to offer. Between their elite level of service, their wonderful and relaxing accommodations, and their gourmet-inclusive concept...we figure we can't go wrong taking our family vacation here. I hope it works out, as we could really use a vacation like. How wonderful would it be to have snap to service and swim up rooms....ah, that sounds like the life to me.

Our Baby
Baby Gaskill will be here in just about 12 weeks. It still may sound like a long time, but in the whole picture...it's not long at all! We're very excited to meet our new son or daughter...and to see Kaelyn as a big sister. It's fun being surprised and not knowing we're having...I think it even adds to the anticipation of the birth even more!! Although I don't like it usually when time goes by so quickly, I do hope that November gets here soon!

Such a TALKER!
Jen and I are just amazed every day at how much Kaelyn is talking. By the time she was 12 months old she was saying so many words, and now that she's 21 months old...she's speaking in full sentences. Pretty much anything she needs or wants, she communicates with words. She does very well. We think it has a lot to do with introducing her to Sign Language at such a young age. That has really helped with her language and verbal abilities.
